The County of Santa Clara Animal Services Center is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals in our communities. We take in about 4,000 beating hearts each year, from pot-bellied pigs to parakeets. We strive to reunite lost pets with their families while finding homes for those still in need. We facilitate adoptions and engage volunteers who share our mission. We care for the sick and injured and reduce pet overpopulation through affordable spay and neuter services. We investigate complaints, cruelty, and neglect. We rescue livestock in-need and assist with injured wildlife. We serve people and animals in a disaster. We partner to save animal lives, enriching human lives in the process. Four-legged, feathered, hooved, horned—we help them all! We do it with dedication, compassion, optimism—and the support of people like you
